Adult Education

The Evart Adult Education Program is aligned with the mission of the workforce Development Agency and the Office of Adult Education State Standards.  All students must fulfill requirements equivalent to those of the Michigan Merit Curriculum. Our curriculum is aligned to all state standards and high school content expectations.  All HSC classes use the same textbooks as our high school students. Students may also choose to do their coursework online via APEX™. The Evart Adult Education Program administers a TABE basic skills test upon entry and exit into the program. The EAE program is a nine month open enrollment program (consisting of two-16 week semesters) which operates a classroom in the city of Evart at Evart Middle School. The hours are four days each week from 3:15 - 7:15 pm.  This allows for greater flexibility for students in order to meet their schedules based on the needs of the community.
